PIU’ DI 200 GALGO IN DUE MESI Il maltrattamento dei galgo continua in Spagna e non avrà fine finché non terminerà il permissivismo nei confronti dei cacciatori e delle loro tradizioni. Due mesi fa è finita la stagione della caccia e il Santuario Scooby ha raccolto fino ad ora più di 200 galgo. I più fortunati sono stati lasciati in rifugio dai loro proprietari, ma moltissimi altri  sono stati salvati da terribili situazioni. Terrorizzati come Rodri e Todri, malnutriti come Camila, investiti dopo essere stati abbandonati, come Erwin o dopo aver subito un ‘colpo di grazia fallito, come Hope. Il 70-80% dei nostri cani proviene dalla caccia. El maltrato hacia los galgos continúa en España y lo hará hasta que se acabe la permisividad hacia los cazadores y sus prácticas. Hace 2 meses que acabó la temporada de caza y en Scooby hemos recogido hasta ahora a más de 200 galgos. A los más afortunados nos los han entregados sus dueños pero a muchos otros hemos tenido que rescatarles en penosas situaciones; aterrados como Rodri y Todri, desnutridos al extremo como Camila, atropellados tras ser abandonados como Erwin o con el tiro de gracia mal dado como en el caso de Hope. Entre el 70% y el 80% de nuestros perros proviene de la caza. Si esta actividad no existiera, si se controlara adecuadamente la cría y tenencia, si se endurecieran las penas por maltrato animal… nuestros patios estarían casi vacios.
